In Bologna the students and the inhabitants don't get along. This city is the backdrop for the story of two ex lovers: Davide and Chiara. Davide, a young artist, tries to move on after his ex-girlfriend Chiara moves out of their house in Bologna. He starts to hear strange sounds that he can't figure out. He starts to think it is the new neighbour from Milan that is making the strange noises and slowly becomes obsessed with him. In the meantime Chiara found a new place to live. But even though Chiara moved out, it is as though she never really left...

Bologna, 2006. Gli studenti e gli inabitanti non vanno molto d'accordo. Davide, un giovane disegnatore viene confrontatocon la dura realtà quando la sua ex-ragazzacon cui condivide un apartamento, cerca casa. La sua inquietudine aumenta quando comincia a sentire dei rumori strani. Diventa ossessionato con i rumori e è convinto che è il nuovo vicino. Poi arriva il momento inevitabile: la sua ex ha trovato una nuova casa e lo lascia da solo con i rumori. Pero anche se Chiara ha trovata una nuova casa, sembra che non e' mai partita...
